Cabinet Designer Position Summary: This role will work to identify the SOW of cabinet opportunities, create cabinet takeoffs and estimates, optimize and leverage MFS’s cabinet product offerings, and provide training and assistance to sales reps. Position is a hybrid role but will consider fully remote for the right candidate. Primary Responsibilities: - Design functional kitchen and bathroom while leveraging MFS’ cabinet offering and inventory for multi-family and single family properties
- Identify opportunities and develop improvements for critical product development processes for the cabinet program
- Ability to take projects from blueprint to finished design within 48 hours.
- Interpret architectural plans and scale appropriately.
- Provide detailed product information to customers
- Support product platform strategy and managing the existing product line up
- Identify opportunities and develop improvements for critical product development processes
- Be the voice of the end user, supporting product concept and specification development
- Other tasks as requested
Required Education & Skills: - Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Skilled in 20/20 design
- Sales experience is a plus.
- 1-3 years’ experience in kitchen/bathroom design
- 1-3 years’ experience in construction project estimating
- Research, problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proven experience using oral and written communication skills to effectively resolve problems
