Industrial Maintenance Technician (Multiple Shifts Available)
About the Role
Pro Services is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians for openings across our manufacturing and processing partners, including a growing polymer recycling operation. Whether you're early in your maintenance career or you've got years of hands-on experience, we have a role for you. You'll keep sorting, grinding, washing, and baling equipment running safely and efficiently — troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as part of a team that takes pride in keeping operations up and running.
Schedule
- Both day shift and night shift openings available
- 2-2-3 rotation schedules
- Overtime available as business needs require
- Some roles may require flexibility for off-hours support during emergency downtime situations
What You'll Do
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems — including motors, pumps, conveyors, screens, balers, and grinders
- Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical equipment, working independently as your experience allows
- Read electrical schematics and blueprints; PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley) a plus
- Complete work orders, field service reports, and daily logs
- Assist with or lead new equipment installs and coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors
- Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and operators, and share what you learn to help prevent repeat issues
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
What You Bring
- 1+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar hands-on trade (5+ years preferred for senior-level openings)
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and conveyors
- Electrical knowledge sufficient to work safely around industrial systems; ability to read electrical schematics is a plus
- A self-starter mindset — someone who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told twice
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems
- A team player who's motivated to keep learning and building new skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or mechanical/electrical certificate a plus
- Preferred for some roles: welding experience, PLC troubleshooting, valid driver's license, background in recycling centers or polymer processing
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding; working in tight spaces
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Wearing required PPE
