Join Avalign on 3rd Shift in Warsaw, IN

When the lights dim and the shop hums, you step to the console of a 3/4/5‑axis vertical machining center and turn blueprints into precision reality. As a Multi‑Axis CNC Milling Specialist at Avalign, your shift is where intricate parts take shape, measurements meet GD&T, and quality is verified at every step.

    A Day in the Life

You arrive for 3rd shift, review work orders in the Visual Labor Entry system, and set up your CNC VMCs for the next run. You load tools, dial in work offsets, and confirm programs for complex contours. With optical comparator checks and gauges in hand—calipers, micrometers, height and depth gauges—you validate features to AQL and work instructions. Between cycles, you remove burrs, adjust tooling, and capture part counts and scrap accurately in the database. You keep your area compliant with procedures and take on additional tasks as needed to keep production flowing.
