What will you do?
- Operate CNC, conventional, and special‑purpose machines to cut, shape, and form metal parts.
- Load/unload material using hoists and hand tools; secure work on tables and fixtures.
- Monitor cycles; identify malfunctions or tolerance drift; adjust machine controls or media.
- Confirm specs with micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
- Tag/stamp parts and document throughput on Process and Log sheets.
- Deburr and wash finished parts; stage on pallets or in tubs.
- Carry out routine PM: clean interiors/exteriors, check oil, and complete minor repairs.
- Alert the Shop Supervisor when equipment needs service.
Who will you report to?
The Shop Supervisor provides general direction for daily priorities and quality expectations.
Do you manage others?
No. This role carries no supervisory responsibilities.
