What will I do day to day?
You’ll take ownership of setups and operations on multi‑brand CNC equipment, ensuring parts meet print and process standards while maximizing uptime.
- Lathe work: Set up and run Mori Seiki, Takisawa, and Hyundai machines for precision turning.
- Mill work: Configure Takumi and Hurco CNC mills and Bridgeport mills; execute Mega gundrilling operations.
- Fabrication: Form with Bystronic/Amada press brakes and cut on Trumpf/Bystronic lasers.
- Material processing: Utilize CR Onsrud routers and Hydmech saws for accurate prep and machining support.
- Quality: Perform tooling changes, offsets, program edits, first‑article inspections, and continuous in‑process checks with precision instruments.
What skills are essential?
- 4+ years in CNC setup/operation; Fanuc experience preferred.
- Competence across lathes, mills, press brakes, lasers, routers, and other fabrication tools.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T literacy; adept with micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
- Experience with stainless and non‑ferrous materials; CAD/CAM familiarity helpful.
- Math‑savvy troubleshooter with clear communication, organization, and a quality‑ and safety‑driven approach.

- VMCs (3–4 axis): Fanuc, DMG Mori
- CNC lathes (2–4 axis): Hyundai‑Wia, DMG Mori, Takisawa
- VMCs (5+ axis): Fanuc, Haas
- Lathes (5+ axis): Okuma, Mazak
