Job Description
This position requires availability during school breaks, including summer.
Summary
The primary focus will be to provide assistance in daily operations related to the upkeep of the building's functionality and operations to provide the best student and guest experience. Tasks are semi-routine and involve manual labor; there are some clerical duties, as well.
Because there is regular contact with students, staff, and the general public using the facilities, a positive and courteous attitude is necessary. Work is subject to spot-checking to ensure instructions have been followed and that work is performed thoroughly.
Essential Functions
Notify supervisor of needed furniture repairs. As directed, repair furniture (including fixing/replacing seat pans, installing missing chair/table glides and concealing scratches with a furniture pencil).
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $15.25 per hour, paid on a bi-weekly basis

Average number of hours per week: 12-15, Monday - Friday between 8AM and 5PM

This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
To be eligible for a student title, an individual must be enrolled at the University of Missouri. Enrollment in the summer session is not required if the student was enrolled in the Spring semester and is pre-enrolled for the Fall semester. Selection is contingent upon results of a review with the Office of Institutional Equity, Office of Student Accountability and Support, Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, previous MU appointment history, and reference checks.
