POSITION:MTSS Behavior Paraprofessional - 31a Funded
SUPERVISOR: Principals, in conjunction with the MTSS Coordinator
This position operates strictly as an instructional and behavioral paraprofessional, completely free of administrative, supervisory, or disciplinary duties. This non-administrative role allows the paraprofessional to focus entirely on direct student intervention, and building-level system support.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support students with academic and behavioral challenges funded under Section 31a of the Michigan State School Aid Act, helping implement multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavior interventions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma required; plus an Associate degree, 60 college credit hours, or a passing score on an approved paraprofessional test - ACT Workkeys..
CONTRACT ADDENDUM
Assignments vary by Grade Band and Primary Content Area but all Coaches are required to support teachers in the instruction of College & Career Readiness skills:
K - 4 PBIS / REACH / Attendance: Tentative: J. Major

9 - 12 College & Career Readiness: Open x 2 FTE
