    Role Overview: This role involves administering treatments, interpreting telemetry data, coordinating care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient recovery and safety.

    Requirements:
    • Required 1 years’ experience.
    • Required 1 year of Epic charting experience.
    • Medication System: Omnicell
    • Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TN active RN license.
    • Required 1 years’ experience for travelers.
    • Required Float, as needed and per skill set.

    Skills:

    • CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
    • Substance Withdrawal
    • IV therapy/Phlebotomy:Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs
    • Work settings: ER Holding, MS/Tele, Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
    • Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management
    • Gastrointestinal: Feeding tube care and management
    • Medications: Heparin, Insulin, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
    • Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE
    • Use of Rapid Response/Code teams

    Special Procedures Details:
    • Inpatient unit for our stroke and TIA patients.
    • Peritoneal dialysis and continuous bladder irrigation.

    Schedule:
    • Shift hours: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15).
    • Weekend Coverage: Every other but may change based on need.
    • Required Float, as needed.
