What You’ll Do:
As a MS/Tele Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to oncology patients on a 12-hour shift schedule. Your role will involve continuous cardiac monitoring, managing complex medication protocols, utilizing advanced equipment like GE telemetry systems and Alaris pumps, and ensuring infection prevention and patient safety. You will also coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, interpret telemetry rhythms, access vascular lines, and assist with procedures such as chest tube insertions. Flexibility to float within units of similar or lower acuity is required, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healing environment.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a hospital setting
  • Current BLS certification
  • Proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines
  • Experience with blood product administration and port access
  • Strong knowledge of infection prevention protocols and patient safety measures
  • EPIC EMR system experience is required
  • Ability to assess and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Oncology specialty certification or coursework
  • Experience with high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ABG interpretation
  • Familiarity with specialized equipment such as Stryker beds and bladder scanners

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
  • Prior oncology or telemetry ICU experience highly desirable, but not required

Other Requirements:
  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Certifies: BCLS
  • Ability to work either day or night 12-hour shifts, with rotating schedules based on department needs
  • Willingness to float within similar acuity units
  • Ability to start on 06/29/2026
