Role Summary
We are looking for a strong MS SQL DBA with extensive experience in database administration performance tuning high availability backup recovery and production support The candidate should be comfortable supporting business critical enterprise applications in highly available environments Java/.Net/Python development application support experience and Knowledge on Angular/React.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure administer patch and upgrade SQL databases across production and nonproduction environments
- Perform SQL database performance tuning query optimization indexing execution plan analysis and capacity management
- Support database migrations upgrades patching refreshes and release deployment activities
- Automate routine DBA activities using Shell Python scripting where applicable
- Collaborate with application infrastructure DevOps and production support teams
- Provide support for enterprise applications with strong focus on stability, resiliency and operational excellence
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as an MS SQL DBA preferably supporting large enterprise production environments
- Strong expertise in MS SQL Database.
- Excellent understanding of SQL PLSQL query optimization indexing execution plans backup and recovery
- Experience with troubleshooting database performance and production issues
- Good understanding of Linux Unix environments and scripting
- Experience working with high availability and disaster recovery environments
