Title MS Solutions Engineer (Level 4)

Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000

Overview

The MS Systems Engineer (L4) is a senior technical role focused on the design and delivery of large-scale Microsoft solutions, including enterprise Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations (40, 100, 500+ users and enterprise environments). This position combines solution architecture, project leadership, and hands-on engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture for Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams
• Lead and support large Microsoft migrations, including email and tenant-to-tenant migrations

Technical & Engineering Skills

• Deep expertise in: Large MS Migrations, Email Migrations - 40, 100. 500, Enterprise 
• Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, PowerShell
• Entra ID (Azure AD) including MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC
• Strong understanding of virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware)
• Experience with network infrastructure: Routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, QoS, ACLs
• Advanced skills in solution design, system integration, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with Windows desktop and server operating systems
• (Windows XP through Windows 11; Server 2008 R2 through 2022)

Nice to Have Not Required Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• MCSA/E, Network+, CCNA (optional but beneficial)
