MS Operations - Safety Advisor

A Safety Advisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment within Mister Sparky Electric. This role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The Safety Advisor works closely with management, employees, and external agencies to minimize risks, prevent accidents, and foster a culture of safety.

Requirements:

• Respond to customer calls regarding significant electrical safety concerns.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections and assessments in residential settings.
• Provide detailed estimates for recommended electrical work.
• Clearly communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Coordinate with install crews to ensure timely completion of approved work.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, estimates, and customer interactions.
• Stay current with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Experience:

• Proven experience in electrical work, preferably in residential settings.
• Strong sales background and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.

Physical Requirements:

• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
• Ability to work in an office environment, occasionally outdoors, in extreme temperatures, wet/humid environments, and/or with vibration
• Working with mechanical and chemical hazards and conditions including fumes, odors, dust, gases, and/or poor ventilation
• Ability to climb, talk, crouch, stand, balance, reach, grasp, pull, lift, see, hear, and operate tools and vehicles
