Description

We are seeking a 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach and an 8th Grade Boys Basketball Coach who has the ability to build meaningful relationships with players, families, and the community while fostering an environment that promotes both athletic and personal growth. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the JV and Varsity coaches to develop and implement all aspects of the program while supporting the overall vision and philosophy of Bangor Boys Basketball.

Candidates will be expected to coach, teach, and motivate student-athletes to develop not only their basketball skills, but also their academic responsibility, teamwork, leadership, and character. Instruction in fundamentals, skill development, basketball IQ, and team concepts will be valued alongside a strong emphasis on character development within athletics.

The successful candidate will be committed to creating a positive, competitive, and inclusive environment that encourages every student-athlete to reach their full potential.

An emphasis will be placed on creating a positive experience for all student-athletes while serving as a positive ambassador for the entire boys basketball program, school, and community.

The Bangor School District is a small rural school district conveniently located along Interstate 90 between La Crosse and Sparta. Our campus includes an Elementary School, Middle/High School, and the former high school gym facility.
