Description

Located in Northwest Houston, you will be a crucial component of our technical operations team, driving engineering initiatives at our headquarters. Engage with complex mechanical power transmission equipment, executing inspection, repair, modification, and enhancement activities. This dynamic role involves acting as a bridge between our regional service center and corporate engineering, optimizing customer operations through strategic collaborations across multiple departments. Your expertise will empower you to perform failure analyses, develop detailed engineering scopes, and deliver precision-driven engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities include implementing client-driven projects for equipment upgrades and repairs, assessing equipment conditions, performing reverse engineering, and crafting comprehensive technical reports. You will develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings to guide manufacturing, as well as providing technical insight directly on the shop floor during critical production phases.

Leveraging hands-on experience, you will define operational procedures for components, troubleshoot issues, and ensure alignment with customer expectations and engineering standards. Cultivate relationships with suppliers and clients, offering technical support from project inception to completion.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 2+ years in engineering design or manufacturing required. Experience with power transmission systems and mechanical design software, particularly SolidWorks, is highly valued. Strong problem-solving acumen alongside excellent communication abilities are essential.
