    MRI Technologist

    Position Information:

    • Facility Department/Cost Center: 15447144
    • Role: MRI Technologist
    • Specialty: Interventional Radiology, also serving ER/OP
    • Number of Openings: 5
    • Shift: Evenings, 5x8
    • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
    • Weekend Hours: Rotating call – could be 2 -3 days per week including the weekend
    • Assignment Length: 16 weeks
    • Call Requirements: As required by facility
    • Required Licensure: ARRT
    • Required Certifications: BLS
    • Preferred Certifications: MRI Registry
    • Years of Experience: 2 years plus, Peds Radiology/Imaging required
    • Float Requirements: none

    Unit Information:

    • Equipment: GE 1.5 and GE 3T, we use Visage as our PACS system
    • EMR: EPIC

    Hiring Profile:

    • Must Have Skills/Experience: excellent communication and patient care skills.
    • Preferred Skillset/Experience: GE 1.5 and 3T experience
    • Type of Patients on Unit: all types of patients are done – vented patients, anesthesia cases

    Additional Information:

    Performs specialized MRI procedures on patients, resulting in diagnostic images for interpretation by a radiologist. Also provides the patient care essential to these procedures. Applies principles of MR safety. Education: Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program. Certifications: A.R.R.T. registered upon hire. Must obtain advanced A.R.R.T. registry in MRI within 1 year of hire.
