MRI Technologist I
The MRI Technologist I cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- High School Diploma/ GED
- Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
- Licensure/ Certification:
- BLS American Heart Association
- ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered.
- Other Skills/ Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
- 2 years' radiography experience.
- 1 year MRI experience.
- Licensure/ Certification:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) registered
