Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 02 months Contract
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8a-8p
Hourly rate: $71/hour on W2 (Negotiable)
Must-Have Qualifications- Strong knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent MRI technical skills
- 2 years of MRI experience required
Required Education:- Graduate of an JCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Required Certifications & Licensure: - New York State License (L.R.T).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified).
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI scans according to established protocols.
- Position patients and coils for optimal image quality.
- Complete MRI safety screening before scanning.
- Evaluate image quality and transmit studies to PACS.
- Document and complete exams in IDX (Radiology Information System).
- Educate patients on MRI procedures and safety.
- Maintain MRI equipment, room cleanliness, and supplies.
- Follow MRI safety and infection control protocols.
- Assist physicians as needed.
