Experienced MRI Technologists are sought for a contract opportunity to support imaging services within a clinical setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality MRI scans to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment, while ensuring the safety and comfort of all individuals under your care.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
- Previous experience performing MRI scans in a clinical or hospital environment
- Proficiency with operating MRI equipment and following proper imaging protocols
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in preparing and reviewing imaging results
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and medical staff
- Ability to maintain strict safety standards regarding MRI equipment and patient care
- Up-to-date knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI examinations according to physician orders and protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain each step to ensure comfort and compliance
- Operate MRI scanners safely, adjusting equipment and positioning patients as needed
- Monitor image quality and troubleshoot minor technical issues as required
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in accordance with facility guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals on image interpretation and workflow
- Uphold cleanliness and infection control standards within the imaging suite
