MRI Technologist - Contract

Skills required: Ability to work in fast-paced imaging department completing routine and STAT MRI exams for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency patients. Required License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT.

• Facility offers X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound and MRI imaging services
• No Trauma Designation
• Not a Teaching Hospital
• Not a Chest Pain Center
• Not currently Stroke accredited
• Radius rule: Traveler s permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Department Information:

• Outpatients are scheduled on weekends
• Department performs an average of 30 studies/weekday and 14 studies on weekends

Minimum Years of Experience required: 2 years

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Department will serve ED, Inpatient, Observation, and Outpatient patients

• ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• BLS
• State Licensure is not required
