MRI Technologist - Contract

We offer a dynamic and cutting-edge MRI environment with six scanners a blend of Client and Siemens and an extensive range of advanced imaging procedures, including cardiac, functional, neuro, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty exams. Outpatient, Inpatient, ED: patients with Implantable Devices, Neuro, Oncology, Musculoskeletal, Ventilated, Sedated, Whole body, Cardiac experience preferred as of 8/25.

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8hr Evening Shift (40)

Shift Information: Monday - Friday 2:00PM - 10:30 PM

Clinical Interviewing- Yes, Manager to review any offers

On Call, Call Back Requirements: On-call approximately one every eight weekends; participation in first shift backup on call rotation

Weekend Rotation: On-call approximately one every eight weekends, may include on-site shift

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 2:00PM-10:30PM with occasional weekend on-call rotations.

General Information

• Beds: 6 scanners (currently operating 5 scanners)
• Weekly census – 250-300 patients

Experience: 3-5 years in MRI
First-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types:

• Outpatient, Inpatient, ED: patients with Implantable Devices, Neuro, Oncology, Musculoskeletal, Ventilated, Sedated, Whole body, Cardiac experience preferred as of 8/25

Patient Ratios: 1:1

Required Certifications:

• BLS
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT

Skills required

• Experience with the above patient types
• Client and Siemens experience required

Support on the Unit:

• Lead Tech/Coordinator
• Imaging Assistants
• Traveler will never be alone

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC – required
• Client Discovery 750W - required
• Siemens Aera - required
• Siemens Magentom Skyra - required
• McKesson PACS – required

Floating: None – MRI only

Orientation: 3 days of orientation

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: maximum every 3 ^rd weekend
• Can we approve time off: NM approval
• On Call - Sat and Sun night 2100-0630
• Back up on call – Sat and Sun 0630-2100
• 30 min response time
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call. Weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours, with a compensatory weekday off scheduled.
