    Description

    This is a Full Time Position 

    Compensation Range: $36.68 TO $55.02

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
    Supervisory-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
    • N/A
    Position-Specific Performance Expectations, Duties, and Responsibilities:
    • Performs MRI procedures at a tech level in accordance with protocols.
    • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures including, but not limited to, X-ray
    and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm, and OR work.
    • Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.
    • Ability to operate equipment consistent with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
    • Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction
    needs outside maintenance.
    • Maintains accurate patient records in EHR, including charging for procedures and
    supplies.
    • May be required to perform other functions within the clinic. Any additional training required
    will be provided.
    • Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking call,
    overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
    • Obtains additional training or certification as required.
    • Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when
    required.
    • Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.
    • Must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum
    supervision.
    • Orders, stocks, and maintains supply inventory.

    • Completes all required annual education, training, in-services, and licensure/certification
    updates; actively participates in departmental and organizational meetings or reviews meeting
    minutes as required.
    • Maintains strict patient confidentiality at all times.
    • Reports to work punctually and completes assigned duties within established timeframes.
    • Actively contributes to departmental and organization-wide performance improvement and
    continuous quality initiatives.
    • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining adherence to departmental,
    hospital, state, and federal standards and policies.
    • Follows all infection control, safety, and risk management procedures to maintain a safe
    environment for patients, the public, and staff.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for positions requiring driving, with a valid driver’s
    license).
    • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
    • Must successfully pass a background check.
    • Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and breath alcohol test (if
    applicable).
    • Must complete an Employee Health meeting prior to starting employment.

    EDUCATION, LICENSURE(S), AND CERTIFICATION(S)-Please make sure you have these required documents.
    Required Preferred
    ☒                ☐ Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
    ☒                ☐ ARRT registration in Radiology (R), including Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

    ☒                ☐ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 90 days of hire or transfer)

    EXPERIENCE
    Required Preferred
    ☐               â˜’ Two (2) years prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist, CT, and MRI technologist.
    ☐               â˜’ Cross-trained into other modalities, including, but not limited to: DEXA and Mammography.
    ☐               â˜’ Experience with electronic records, including PACS and RIS/HIS.
