MATERIALS REVIEW BOARD (MRR) ENGINEER — ROTORCRAFT (PART 27) – JOB #1132Evaluate the Issue. Protect the Design. Keep Aircraft Moving Safely. Enstrom Helicopter Corporation is seeking a Materials Review Board (MRR) Engineer to support the evaluation and disposition of nonconforming parts, materials, and assemblies within our rotorcraft manufacturing environment. This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and FAA compliance. You’ll help determine whether nonconforming hardware can be used as-is, reworked, repaired, or must be scrapped, while ensuring every decision supports airworthiness, product integrity, and regulatory requirements. You’ll work on a wide range of helicopter components, including airframe structures, dynamic components, avionics, mechanical systems, and flight-critical hardware. If you enjoy hands-on engineering, technical problem-solving, and making sound decisions that directly affect aircraft production and safety, this is an opportunity to build meaningful rotorcraft experience. Why Enstrom? At Enstrom, MRR engineering is not isolated from the product or the factory. You’ll work directly with aircraft parts, production teams, engineering data, and real manufacturing challenges. The decisions you support can affect production flow, engineering design, repair strategy, quality performance, and continued airworthiness. For an early-career engineer, this role offers exposure to a broad range of aircraft systems and the opportunity to develop practical engineering judgment quickly. If you enjoy investigating problems, understanding why a part does or does not meet requirements, and developing technically sound solutions, we’d like to hear from you. Physical RequirementsThis position includes work in office, engineering, manufacturing, and shop-floor environments. The role requires the ability to move throughout the facility and access production areas to inspect parts, materials, assemblies, and aircraft components. It may also require occasional bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and changing position while examining components. The employee must be able to handle documents, tools, measuring devices, and aircraft components as needed and wear required personal protective equipment in designated production areas. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on production needs.
