MQ Exit Developer C Programming (IBM MQ)

We are looking for an experienced MQ Exit Developer with strong C programming skills and deep expertise in IBM WebSphere MQ Series. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing custom MQ exits that support enterprise messaging, security, and integration requirements.

We are looking for an experienced MQ Exit Developer with strong C programming skills and deep expertise in IBM WebSphere MQ Series. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing custom MQ exits that support enterprise messaging, security, and integration requirements.
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support IBM MQ Channel Exits, API Exits, and Message Exits using C.
• Develop thread-safe and high-performance solutions for multi-threaded MQ environments.
• Integrate MQ exits with external systems such as LDAP and REST APIs.
• Provide L3 production support for MQ exit-related issues.
• Work with platform and application teams to modernize and simplify legacy MQ exit implementations.
• Support migration and enhancement initiatives across MQ environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and code standards.
• Ensure proper version control, release management, and rollback processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IBM WebSphere MQ Series.
• Strong hands-on experience in C Programming.
• Expertise in MQ Channel Exits, API Exits, and Message Exits.
• Good understanding of IBM MQ architecture and internals.
• Experience with multi-threaded application development.
• Knowledge of security integrations, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
