Mover / Moving Laborer

Our Packout team members are responsible for taking inventory of all items, carefully packing boxes, wrapping furniture, and transporting customers' items from the jobsite to our warehouse facility for the duration of their project. Items will be transported back to the customers' home upon completion of their project.

$16.50 - $20.00 per hour, depends upon experience

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize company's project management software to take a detailed inventory of customers' contents
• Carefully wrap and pack items into boxes, label and number boxes in an organized fashion
• Wrap furniture and prepare for storage
• Load vehicles with boxes and other items for transport to warehouse facility
• Unload vehicles and load contents into storage vaults for duration of customers' project

Position Requirements

• Effective oral communication
• Basic computer skills
• Valid drivers license preferred
• Previous moving/packing experience preferred but not required
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly
• Sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Push, pull, lift, and carry objects repetitively
