Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision of the Controller, you will be responsible for applying generally accepted accounting principles and procedures in the recording of financial transactions and maintenance of the hospital's general accounting and statistical reporting systems Your role is intended as a growth role to train for a Controller position. Due to this, you must be able to learn and grow within a dynamic and challenging environment You will supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accountants, prepare monthly journal entries, analyses, and balance sheet reconciliations as assigned, and prepare hospital semi-annual internal control reviews and Sarbanes Oxley 404 reviews as assigned You will assist the Controller with completing month-end financial statement reviews, the Balance Sheet Review Guide and Financial Attestation, and Facility SOX & Internal Control Attestations as assigned, prepare variousad hoc reporting and reporting for the Facility Monthly Operating Review, and prepare annual requirements such as facility budgets, cost report workpapers, tax workpaper packages, etc. as assigned What qualifications you will need: Bachelor's degree Accounting or Finance required 2-3 years of experience in Accounting required 3+ years of experience in Accounting required HCA Far West Division is a part of an exceptional network of hospitals throughout California and Nevada.
