You should be knowledgeable about:

• Variable frequency drive
• Validating industrial Motor control performance and efficiency
• PLC programming
• Industrial control protocols such as MODBUS/TCP, BacNet, or EtherNet/IP
• Multimeter, oscilloscope, power analyzer, grid emulator
• MacOS, Linux, and Windows
• Python Programming

And this is what wed expect of our Motor Control Performances Test Designer:

• Write and execute test cases to validate our VFD motor control performances and efficiency
• Write comprehensive performance reports to be shared with marketing, sales, and customers
• Write test cases that go beyond the requirements
• Write PLC programs and Python programs

Experience requirements:

• 3 years writing and executing test cases to validate industrial equipment (VFD, PLC, Panel)
• 2 years validating performance and efficiency of VFDs
• 1 year install/configure/operate/support variable frequency drive
• 1 year writing PLC application
• 1 year Python programming

Language requirement:

• English fluent
• French fluent

Interview process

The hiring process for this position will consist of 3 interviews:

• 1st interview with HR representative 20 minutes via Google Meet General discussion, confirmation of interest
• 2nd interview with the departments head 30 minutes via Google Meet General technical discussion
• 3rd interview with your future colleagues and supervisor 1 hour on-site In-depth technical discussion + tour of the office

• We expected people to come a majority of their time to the office
• Bus stops for lines 35, 36, and 71 are just outside of the office. It is also a 10-minute walk away from the Lucien lAllier metro station (Orange line) and a 10-minute bus (lines 35 and 36) to Lionel-Groulx (Green and Orange lines)
