Motion Control Engineer - Seattle, WA - June2026

We are seeking a Motion Control Engineer for our client in Seattle WA working in the Space Sector. You will collaborate with software, mechanical, solar, and propulsion engineers to develop solutions that meet rigorous performance standards for space applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement motion control strategies for precision aerospace mechanisms and subsystems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate mechatronic solutions into broader system architectures.

• Support the testing, validation, and documentation of control systems throughout the hardware development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3+ years of experience in motion control, mechatronics, or dynamic systems.

• Familiarity with control system modeling and simulation tools

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and integrating hardware in a lab environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS in Control Systems, Robotics, or a related field.

• Previous experience with aerospace applications, pointing mechanisms, or optical platforms.

• Understanding of environmental testing and qualification standards for space hardware.
