Description

Our client needs to hire a Post Loan Closer is responsible for reviewing, packaging, delivering, and supporting the purchase of closed loan files. All work must be completed in accordance with applicable guidelines and required timeframes.

The position requires careful file review, timely follow-up, and effective management of assigned resources. The Loan Closer plays an important role in maintaining compliance and supporting an efficient loan-shipping process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review assigned conventional and government closed loan files for compliance with applicable investor and agency requirements.
  • Package and deliver closed loan files in accordance with applicable guidelines and required timeframes.
  • Notify the appropriate branch and centralized closing personnel when deficiencies are identified in an individual loan file.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding missing loan documentation and provide clear information about outstanding file requirements.
  • Monitor loans submitted to investors for purchase and track their status to help facilitate funding within the required timeframe.
  • Maintain attention to file accuracy, compliance, and timely completion throughout the review and delivery process.
  • Assist with other departmental functions as time and workload permit.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of real estate documentation, policies, compliance requirements, and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities.
