About the Role:Carlile Realty Group is looking for a driven and personable Mortgage Loan Originator to join our growing team in Sacramento, CA. Responsibilities:- Originate and process residential mortgage loans from application through closing
- Consult with prospective borrowers to assess financial needs and recommend suitable loan products
- Build and maintain a pipeline of referral sources including realtors, builders, and financial advisors
- Collect and review borrower documentation including income, credit, and asset verification
- Coordinate with underwriters, processors, and escrow officers to ensure timely loan closings
- Stay current on mortgage guidelines, loan programs, and compliance regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire loan process
Requirements:- Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain one) required
- 1+ years of experience in mortgage lending, loan origination, or a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline
- Familiarity with loan origination software and mortgage compliance standards
- California real estate or lending background is a plus
