    Job Description:

    What You'll Do:

    MORTGAGE /CUSTOMER RELATIONS 

    • Track all outstanding items with mortgage application or file and follow up with borrowers to ensuretimelyreceipt of necessary documentation

    • Maintain effective communication with applicants, third parties and internal staff on loan status, follow up and/or documentation requests, loancompletionand funding of loans

    • Assistin the facilitation of closing loans with mortgage closers   

    • Work with mortgage loan processors on loan applicationsin accordance withpolicies and procedures

    • Monitor workflow to assuretimelyprocessing of loans

    • Actively cross-sell Credit Union products and services

    ADMINISTRATIVE

    • Upload loan files into loan origination system

    • Assistmortgage loan officer and processors with other related or administrative tasks

    • Compile and complete reports as assigned 

    OTHER

    Assistand support management by performing other duties as assigned

    What You'll Need:

    • High School Diploma (or equivalent);Bachelor’sdegree preferred.

    • Bilingual fluency required (English/Spanish).

    • 2 to 3 years combination of experience and education in customer service; prefer 1 to 2 years in loan processing or loan operations in a financial institution or credit union.

    • Working knowledge of mortgage loans and Federal regulations preferred.

    • Ability and willingness towork beyond normal work hours,as needed.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative.

    • Knowledge and understanding of related legal and regulatory standards andloan documentation. 

    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and otherofficesprocedures and terminology.

    • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work.

    • Ability to form andmaintainstrong relationships with internal and external customers.

    • Proficiencywith Microsoft Word, Excel.

    Salary range- MIN $24.50 MID $24.81 MAX $26.76
