Are you an experienced CNA or night-shift caregiver with a heart for hospice care?
At
Assisting Hands Home Care, we are seeking a dependable, compassionate night-shift specialist to provide dedicated 1-on-1 end-of-life care for a hospice client during Monday - Thursday overnight hours. We need a vigilant, gentle caregiver to ensure client safety, comfort, and peace of mind throughout the night.
Shift Details & Exact Schedule
We are looking for coverage across the following week night schedule (
32/week total):
- Monday - Thursday: 11p - 7a
- Pay: $15.00 – $17.00/hour (Based on experience & CNA status)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Remaining 100% awake, alert, and responsive throughout all overnight shifts.
- Providing gentle repositioning, turning, and personal hygiene/incontinence care to maintain skin integrity and comfort.
- Observing changes in comfort, breathing, or distress and communicating effectively with the hospice team.
- Assisting with the Monday morning handoff to daytime staff at 8:00 AM.
Requirements
- Experience Required: Minimum 1+ years of caregiving with direct hospice, end-of-life, or overnight care experience. CNA certification strongly preferred.
- Vigilance & Reliability: Proven ability to stay alert through the night and ironclad weekend attendance.
- General Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old, hold a High School Diploma/GED, have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
