Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
• Mechanical aptitude required
• Maintenance experience and/or technical training is a plus
• Spanish-speaking ability is helpful

Experience Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, production, or quality experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute production paperwork
• Basic computer, math, reading, and comprehension skills required

Job Duties

• Assist in the manufacturing process of molded products
• Prepare molds for production runs
• Read and execute production paperwork accurately
• Read tape measures and resin scales
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the department
• Operate hand tools including drills and drivers
• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
• Work in elevated temperature environments throughout the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Molding Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do

As a Molding Technician you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

The Molding Technician plays an important role in manufacturing by supporting production processes that transform raw materials into finished products. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.
