Job Description:
The Molding Technician I supports the Production Department by assisting senior-level technicians with daily manufacturing and molding operations. This entry-level position is designed to develop technical knowledge and hands-on experience through structured training, close supervision, and progressive responsibility. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, quality-focused, and eager to learn manufacturing processes in a team-oriented environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist senior technicians with daily molding and production activities.
- Inspect molded parts for defects and support quality assurance efforts.
- Learn and follow established quality standards, manufacturing procedures, and SOPs.
- Identify and report potential quality concerns under supervision.
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines.
- Receive training on the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Mechanical aptitude or interest in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
