The Molding Technician will operate and monitor molding machines, ensure product quality, and maintain efficient production flow. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate plastic injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Perform basic machine start-up, shut-down, and monitoring functions.
Inspect molded parts for quality, defects, and consistency.
Trim, assemble, and package finished products as required.
Follow work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
Maintain accurate production counts and documentation.
Keep work area clean, organized, and safe (5S standards).
Report equipment issues, defects, or downtime to supervisors.
Support changeovers and material handling as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
