Molding Operator

Nesco Resource is partnering with a client in McElhattan! We are searching for Molding Machine Operators!

Hours & Pay:
Days- 5:45am-6pm; $16.80/HR
Nights- 5:45pm-6am; $18.30/HR

Responsibilities:

• Operate plastic injection molding machines following established guidelines.
• Inspect molded parts for cosmetic defects and report issues to the supervisor.
• Perform necessary trimming, cutting, or wiping to make parts acceptable.
• Complete secondary operations like drilling, heat staking, spray coating, and pin insertion.
• Package products per the shop packet operations form.
• Use gauges and charts to record control measurements as needed.
• Regrind runners and parts to salvage materials when required.
• Sort or rework rejected products.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Check machine safety devices at the start of each shift and report any deficiencies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to sit or stand for up to 10 hours.
• Manually lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push/pull containers weighing several hundred pounds using dollies or edge techniques.
• Rotate between various assignments with different working conditions.
• Perform repetitive tasks requiring fine manipulation, firm grasping, and cutting (up to 25 lbs. of pressure).
• Use hand tools such as tweezers, wire cutters, pliers, soldering irons, and utility knives.
• Work through a range of motions, including bending, twisting, and reaching above shoulder height.
