Location: This position is onsite and will work for our Madison, SD facility.
Job Type: Full-Time

Core Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday through Friday

Falcon Plastics is hiring Molding Operators to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent entry-level manufacturing opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment. No previous manufacturing experience is required. We provide paid, on-the-job training.

As a Molding Operator you'll help manufacture high-quality plastic products while working in a safe, team-oriented environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Inspect molded plastic parts to ensure they meet quality standards

Identify and report product defects

Perform light assembly, trimming, and other secondary operations

Package, label, stack, and prepare products for shipping

Complete quality inspections and hourly measurements

Operate manufacturing equipment, including manual sonic welders and pallet jacks

Maintain production goals and machine cycle times

Monitor materials and follow work instructions

Keep your workstation clean, organized, and safe

Work in different production areas as business needs require

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or machine operation experience is helpful but not required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good attendance and reliability

Basic reading, math, and communication skills

Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift

Regularly lift up to 20 pounds and frequently lift up to 37 pounds

Perform repetitive hand movements and repetitive tasks

Work in a manufacturing environment around machinery and production equipment

Comfortable working in a moderate to loud industrial setting
