Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Molding Machine Operators in Winesburg for a steady manufacturing opportunity on 2nd shift.
You'll operate production molding equipment, remove completed parts, inspect finished work for defects, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
This is a good fit for someone who likes hands-on manufacturing work, doesn't mind a warmer production environment, and wants a consistent 4:00 PM - midnight schedule without rotating shifts.
What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor production molding equipment
- Load and remove materials and completed parts during production
- Remove excess material from finished parts as needed
- Visually inspect completed products for defects and quality
- Keep accurate production and quality information
- Monitor equipment and report production or machine issues
- Follow established work instructions and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow required safety procedures
- Work with the production team to keep output moving efficiently
What We're Looking For
- Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment
- Ability to stay productive in a fast-paced production environment
- Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand and stay active throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to follow written work instructions and quality procedures
- Previous manufacturing, molding, machine-operation, or production experience is helpful, but not required
- No high school diploma or GED required
