Molding Machine Operator – 1st Shift

Location: Worcester, MA 01606
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Employment Type: W-2 Contract
 

Position Overview

We are seeking a Molding Machine Operator to support a manufacturing operation in Worcester, MA. This position is responsible for operating hydraulic, robotic, and/or manual presses and molding equipment to compact and form materials into finished products.

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, machine operation, molding, press operation, production, or other industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate hydraulic, robotic, and/or manual presses and molding equipment.

  • Mold and form materials into specified product shapes.

  • Load, compact, press, and finish materials using established production techniques.

  • Select and apply appropriate molding and pressing methods based on product requirements.

  • Perform basic density testing on initial molded pieces to verify tolerances and specifications.

  • Inspect molded products for quality and conformance to established requirements.

  • Use measuring tools to verify product dimensions and specifications.

  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including tamping equipment.

  • Follow established manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and production specifications.

  • Identify potential product or process issues and communicate concerns appropriately.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Follow all established safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, machine operation, molding, press operation, assembly, or a related industrial environment preferred.

  • Experience operating hydraulic, mechanical, robotic, or manual production equipment is a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing materials and production processes.

  • Ability to use measuring equipment, hand tools, and power tools.

  • Basic math and measurement skills.

  • Ability to follow written work instructions and product specifications.

  • Strong attention to detail and product quality.

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn molding and pressing processes.

  • Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and production equipment.

  • Dependable and able to consistently report for an early 1st-shift schedule.

Schedule

1st Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Candidates must be comfortable with the 5:30 AM start time and able to maintain reliable attendance.
