Summary: As a Mold Technician in the Mold Repair & Assembly area, you will play a key role in assembling, maintaining, and refurbishing blow molds and related components. Primary Responsibilities: - Perform a full range of tool work with a focus on mold assembly, maintenance, and repair.
- Operate all manual machine tools, hand tools, and related equipment safely and effectively.
- Assemble, fit, and inspect mold components to meet engineering specifications.
- Identify, plan, and implement mold repair improvements that enhance quality and productivity.
- Verify machined parts for conformance using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, electronic gauges, etc.).
- Conduct final fitting and inspection of subassemblies and components prior to release.
- Collaborate with team members by sharing technical expertise and supporting shop-wide best practices.
- Protect machines and tools by adhering to proper operating procedures.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
