(week 2)  Sunday , Wednesday & Thursday

Position Summary
The Mold Support Technician is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining molds and mold-related equipment to support efficient production operations. This position works closely with the Set-up Tech, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure molds are clean, properly stored, and readily available for production changeovers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean molds following production runs and prior to storage.
• Remove resin, debris, and contaminants from molds using approved cleaning methods.
• Organize and maintain mold storage areas.
• Assist with moving molds to and from production areas using appropriate equipment.
• Inspect molds for visible damage and report issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate mold location and inventory records.
• Support mold changeovers by preparing molds and related equipment.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper material handling practices.
• Assist the setup and maintenance teams with basic support tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment used for mold maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Position Purpose

The Mold Support Technician plays a key role in supporting production by ensuring molds are clean, organized, properly maintained, and available when needed, helping reduce downtime and improve overall operational efficiency.
