Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for Mohs micrographic surgery.
• Perform embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue samples.
• Maintain accurate records of specimens and laboratory procedures.
• Collaborate with dermatologists to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Adhere to safety and quality control protocols in the laboratory.
• Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and patient-centered care.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Histotechnician or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Mohs surgery techniques and protocols.
• Proficient in laboratory safety and quality control standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
