Module Design Engineer

Lead the end-to-end design and engineering integration of a complex sub-system within the iPhone. Design, engineer, and validate concepts, parts and solutions using 3D CAD tools. Interact and collaborate with overseas manufacturers to ensure designed parts are mass producible. Resolve issues by conducting failure analysis on advanced instruments to determine root cause and corrective design actions. Parse and synthesize large datasets into visual summaries that clearly communicate issues and proposed solutions. Create technical drawings and test specifications for mechanical components, including callouts for GD&T, FAI/SPC, and ORT; Integrate design for manufacturability and design for assembly, and geometric tolerancing into design work. Analyze structural and functional robustness of design by working with statistical tools and techniques. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $150,400 - $225,300/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
