POSITION: Moderate Special Education Teacher, Kittredge Elementary School

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position involves teaching in a substantially seperate classroom, while creating opportunities for meaningful inclusion opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • MA DESE Moderate Special Education Licensure, grades K-5.
  • Knowledge of IEP regulations ("ESped" experience desirable).
  • Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities; experience working with students with Autism preferable.
  • Knowledge of ABA programming a plus.
  • Experience in implementing Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Ability to develop meaningful, standards based lesson plans.

DUTIES:

  • Completing MCAS alternate assesments.

SALARY: $50,954 to $97,434 per Teachers'' contract
