    Description

    What You'll Do

    • Safely transport PACE clients using well-maintained, wheelchair-accessible vans and buses
    • Assist clients with boarding and off-boarding, including operation of electric wheelchair lifts
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming vehicle environment at all times
    • Interact with clients, families, facility staff, and co-workers with patience and professionalism
    • Provide timely transport to the PACE center and scheduled medical appointments

    What We're Looking For

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record approved by company insurance carrier
    • Chauffeur's license required upon hire (we can provide guidance on obtaining one if needed)
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior experience with elderly, disabled, or special needs populations is a plus — but not required.

    Physical Demands

    • Ability to lift, push, and maneuver wheelchairs and assist clients with boarding and off-boarding
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repeated bending, reaching, and standing
    • Must be able to remain alert and focused during extended periods of driving
    • Ability to work in varied environments, including outdoors in varying weather conditions
