Overview

What We're Looking For

As a Mobility Analyst II, you will provide operational and analytical support to theater distribution and deployment operations. You will deliver visibility of force flow and sustainment movement requirement, evaluate transportation system performance and recommend improvements to optimize intra- and inter-theater distribution in accordance with Global Combatant Commander (GCC) priorities. This role interfaces with U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM), the Tanker Airlift Control Center (TACC) and theater logistics stakeholders to ensure synchronized mobility options.

What You'll Do

Provide visibility of service material and force flow requirements; identify distribution resource shortfalls and recommend theater transportation movement priorities in accordance with GCC guidance.

Review and analyze airlift and transportation reports to assess health of the theater distribution system and projected movement plans.

Evaluate transportation capability gaps, alternatives and enhancement opportunities across air and surface distribution networks.

Develop recommendations to improve theater distribution efficiency, including expansion and optimization of Lines of Communication (LOC) capabilities.

Monitor deployment and distribution operations using Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES), Joint Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Single Mobility System (SMS) and Global Transportation Network (GTN).

Apply knowledge of USCENTCOM Time-Phased Force and Deployment Data (TPFDD) Letter of Instruction (LOI) and applicable joint logistics and distribution policies and regulations.

Provide intra-theater mobility expertise and reach-back coordination with USTRANSCOM and TACC to ensure effective inter- and intra- theater linkage.

Prepare analytical products, briefings and status updates for operational and logistics leadership.

Support contingency planning, deployment synchronization and distribution assessments across the Area of Responsibility (AOR).

This position is 100% onsite and requires an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Qualifications

What You'll Need

U.S. Citizenship

Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph

Bachelors Degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, military studies or related field

3-7 years of relevant mobility/logistics operations experience or equivalent military/operational experience

Experience with:

Theater distribution, deployment operations or mobility planning within a Combatant Command, Service component or joint logistics environment

Working knowledge of GATES, JOPES, SMS and GTN (or successor mobility systems)

Familiarity with USCENTCOM TPFDD processes, joint deployment/distribution doctrine and GCC logistics priorities

Ability to analyze transportation data, identify shortfalls and develop actionable recommendation

Strong written and verbal communication skills for briefings and reporting

What Will Set You Apart

Prior experience supporting USCENTCOM AOR mobility or distribution operations

Experience coordinating with USTRANSCOM and/or TACCKnowledge of airlift scheduling, channel/SAAM operations or theater sustainment planning

Military logistics background
