Location: Bergey's Truck Center-Wrightsville, PA

Pay: Starting at $32.00 per hour, based on experience

Bergeys is seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Trailer Technician to join our team in Wrightsville, PA. This position will be responsible for performing a wide range of trailer maintenance and repair services at customer locations and within the service area. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to providing safe, high-quality repairs while working independently in the field.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform trailer suspension and brake system repairs and maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair trailer lighting and electrical systems.
  • Repair and maintain liftgates, ICC bumpers, trailer bodies, landing gear, and doors (swing and roll-up).
  • Conduct inspections and identify mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) concerns.
  • Perform basic wiring diagnostics and electrical repairs.
  • Complete stick welding repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while adhering to company and industry safety standards.
  • Accurately document repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
  • Provide professional customer service while representing Bergeys in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Experience performing trailer suspension and brake repairs.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair trailer lighting and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in liftgate, ICC bumper, body, landing gear, and door repairs.
  • Strong stick welding skills.
  • Knowledge of ABS diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with wiring diagnostics and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
  • Valid drivers license with a satisfactory driving record preferred.
