• Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the salary/hourly wage range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $30.00 to $36.00 per hour. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.

What Does a Mobile Trailer Technician Do At CRST?

Mobile Trailer Technicians support the maintenance of our Class 8 trailers and ensure that safety remains at the core of our work to maximize the quality of our business. The ideal candidate must comprehensively understand how to maintain and repair Class 8 equipment, diagnose technical issues properly and efficiently, and perform equipment reviews. 

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties for a fleet of Class 8  trailers and complete trailer preventative maintenance services; operate Class 8 vehicles and fleet equipment safely around the yard.
• Identify and diagnose trailer maintenance issues and perform repair services.
• Maintain written repair orders and updated maintenance reference manual.
• Perform lot checks to verify equipment condition, identify potential out-of-service items, and confirm load status.

Role Qualifications:

• Must pass CRST background check, drug test, and MVR (where applicable). 
• Must have minimum tool requirement.
• 2 to 3 years experience minimum with Class 8 tractors and trailers.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Class B CDL (preferred)
