Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, light trucks, and commercial vehicles.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services such as oil changes, brake inspections, and system checks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems including brakes, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and electrical components.
  • Conduct fleet inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety and DOT compliance standards.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify issues and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Maintain service truck, tools, and equipment in safe and working condition.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs, timelines, and recommendations.
  • Assist with shop or warehouse duties when not on service calls.

Skills / Education / Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL preferred but not required).
  • Experience with diesel and/or heavy-duty truck repair preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently in various weather and road conditions.
  • Capable of lifting 50–100 lbs. regularly (more with assistance).
  • Basic computer and mobile app proficiency for work orders and reporting.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Overtime may be required.
