As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced, dependable mechanic to assist with service calls and repair work on an as-needed basis.

Position Overview

This is a part-time, as-needed position with flexible scheduling based on customer demand and business needs. Hours may vary from week to week, and consistent hours are not guaranteed initially. As Renegade Mobile Services continues to expand, there may be an opportunity for this position to transition into a full-time role.

The ideal candidate is an experienced mechanic who can work independently, diagnose and repair a variety of commercial vehicles and equipment, and provide quality service at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile repairs and preventative maintenance at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair issues on commercial fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other system-related issues.
• Perform inspections and identify necessary repairs to reduce equipment downtime.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and service calls efficiently.
• Work on a variety of commercial vehicles, equipment, and fleet assets.
• Communicate repair findings, recommendations, and service updates with customers.
• Complete accurate service documentation and work orders.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional presence at customer job sites.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a mechanic, fleet technician, equipment technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working on commercial vehicles, fleet equipment, or heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of diesel systems is a plus.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage mobile service calls.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
