As a Mobile HVAC Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems that keep these high-profile retail environments operating at their best. What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary facilities technician for multiple telecommunications retail locations, taking ownership of building operations and overall site performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems.
  • Perform basic to intermediate repairs and maintenance on electrical, plumbing, lighting, and general building systems.
  • Respond to service requests and resolve equipment failures quickly to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Complete HVAC system installations, upgrades, replacements, and equipment retrofits as required.
  • Monitor building equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and asset longevity.
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, equipment readings, and maintenance documentation using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and facility managers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all CBRE, client, OSHA, and industry safety standards.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by building strong relationships with site leadership and stakeholders.

What You'll Need

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC systems in retail, commercial, industrial, or facilities environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
  • Experience working independently in a mobile service environment.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems (BAS) and controls is a plus.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel daily between assigned client sites.
  • Flexibility to respond to after-hours service needs when required.

Required Certifications

  • EPA Universal Certification strongly preferred
  • Candidates with EPA Type I and Type II Certifications will also be considered.
  • Additional HVAC certifications and trade licenses are a plus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Mobile HVAC Technician position is $25.00 per hour and the maximum salary for this position is $36.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
